New Years Eve

Dear Readers,

I hope everybody had a wonderful New Years Eve, I know I did! My favourite part about my entire Christmas break was having so many of my friends home for the holiday. Since I graduated from high school (back in 2013) my friends have moved across the country, from Newfoundland to British Columbia (I guess I can’t say much since I moved out of Canada twice 😜) One of the perks of having friends living all over the country is it always makes for such a great reunion when so many of my friends are home for the Christmas holiday.

This year we spent New Years in Saint John, we were suppose to travel down to Halifax, however, the weather was not looking great for New Years Day and my friends had flights to catch so we decided to stay in Saint John which ended up being so much fun. Saint John might be a little city, but my friends and I always manage to have a great time.

For my New Years Eve outfit I bought a BB Dakota Jump Suit from  Lordon (a local boutique in Saint John). I paired it with my favourite Bos & Co Boots from Urban Shoe Myth, silver hoops and for a coat I wore my black leather jacket. Jumpsuits are one my favourite fashion pieces because they are so comfortable and a different alternative to wearing a dress! I actually also wore this jumpsuit on Christmas Eve, however I wore a black turtleneck underneath to give it a slightly more casual (and warmer) look.

It’s hard to believe New Years Eve is over and done with and we are already in 2019! I am definitely feeling pretty exhausted from my break. I have decided I will kick start my new years resolutions starting this Monday, as I will be starting my new job this coming week too!!
