First of all, HAPPY CANADA DAY! I hope everyone enjoyed the long weekend, I know I did! It was so nice to spend Canada Day actually in Canada this year. Last year I was celebrating in Kelvingrove Park with my fellow Canadians.
I spent my Canada Day at the museum, like I have many times in the past. Canada day is always our craziest day of the year, but this year it was actually pretty enjoyable with about 6000 visitors of all ages visiting the New Brunswick Museum! My co-worker Stephen and I rocked our matching Canada Day outfits 🇨🇦
Saint John did a great job of planning events for the long weekend. Sunday night there was the Canada Day Count Down on the Boardwalk. Unfortunately it was POURING however the bands were still great! Monday night Scott Helman performed on the boardwalk followed by fireworks! Despite only knowing a few Scott Helman songs he was actually pretty good, he even threw in a A Tragically Hip Cover.
One of my favourite parts of Canada Day is dressing up in red and white! They were my school colours in high school and university, so I have always lots of red and white in my wardrobe. I am wearing a Red Tommy Hilfiger Skirt from two seasons ago, and a Red & White Shirt from GAP also from two seasons ago.
Here are a few Red pieces that I also love!!!
