About Laura Alyre Oland:
Hi! I’m Laura a twenty-five-year-old Art Historian currently living on the East Coast of Canada. Being a historian is a lot more exciting than I think one would typically believe. Over the past six years I have lived in Canada, Sweden, Scotland and England, traveled through Europe, worked for the New Brunswick Museum (Canada’s oldest museum), been able to study and handle collections (as old as 400 AD) from all around the world!

I started this blog in April 2017 once I had finished my Undergrad in History before I moved to the United Kingdom to go to grad school. I had always wanted to start a blog but I was never sure what I would do with it, all I knew was I wanted to document the incredible life I am lucky enough to live and write about my favourite things, which mainly include: fashion, travel, food and history.
My goal is to inspire people to try something new and to never say no to something new, whether it’s a trip, a themed party or a new trend.
